In June 2015, I shipped up to Boston after living my entire life in the Sunshine State. Why, you ask?
Well, after losing my Mom to pancreatic cancer in October 2014, and experiencing my Dad simultaneously overcoming gallbladder cancer, I decided that my life had changed too much to remain in the same place where everything in my world had changed.
After having spent the majority of my professional career working in communications for The Walt Disney Company, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Emerging Media Studies at Boston University.
Throughout 2015 and until graduation in Summer 2016, I merged my passions of writing, journalism, social media and storytelling and applied them to a few different projects. Ultimately, this has led to a new journey with The Creative Group, a creative staffing agency here in Boston. I’m looking forward to discovering talent and helping others find work in the same industry that I am so passionate about.

Congrats on being the master of your own domain. Literally! Hopefully our paths will cross before you dive into Emerging Media Studies and become trapped in a spiderweb of social networks. (Which ended up sounding more sinister than I meant it to sound.) Enjoy your first J4 in Boston! I was there in 1976 to celebrate the Bicentennial. I don’t care what kind of fireworks they do this year … those were better. : )
